Join Scouts in Skipton!

North Yorkshire, England, is home to the market town and civil parish of Skipton. Situated on the River Aire and the Leeds and Liverpool Canal south of the Yorkshire Dales, it was formerly part of the East Division of Staincliffe Wapentake in the West Riding of Yorkshire.

If you live in or are situated in Skipton, why not join one of our Scout groups? Skipton is a bustling market town with lots to see and do. We support young people in taking the next step in their lives by offering them training, life skills, and enjoyable activities.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
