Beaver Damboree

Beaver Damboree is our action-packed 36 hour camp for Beavers. Damboree is a big event, and our Beavers get the opportunity to meet over 500 Beavers, take part in a packed weekend programme and get an introduction to being under canvas for a night – and all our Colony Leaders need to bring is the sleeping tents! Our next Beaver Damboree will take place in May 2027. 

Our first Beaver Damboree took place in 2023 at Askham Bryan College on the edge of York. Our Beavers learned all about Science and the Animal Kingdom. They had exclusive access to the Wildlife Park and got to meet all the animals! And in 2025, we held our second Damboree, where we had exclusive access to areas of the massive Murton Park estate. Our Beavers got the chance to explore life in the past, including being Romans in the fort, meeting some Vikings and going on a steam train ride!
