1st Helmsley Scout Group shares tomahawk skills with fellow leaders

Leaders from 1st Helmsley Scout Group helped fellow volunteers from across the district develop the skills and experience needed to safely run tomahawk sessions with their own groups and sections.
The session gave leaders the opportunity to build their confidence, learn new skills and share ideas with others from across the district.
It also provided a chance for volunteers to meet leaders from other Scout groups and share their experiences of running activities.
1st Helmsley Scout Group continues to support volunteers across the district, helping make more opportunities and activities available to young people.
