Thank you for expressing your interest in helping shape and deliver our next Ignite!
What is Ignite?
Ignite is our flagship event for Scouts & Explorers to take part in a wide range of activities. The event is a queue-and-do event, organised into activity zones during the day. We then run an evening programme that will be for everyone on event. A bespoke explorer only activity will also feature as part of the programme. Ignite is fully catered, and aims to be an ‘oven-ready’ camp for all Group volunteers, where they just need to bring their young people and tents, and the EventTeam delivers the rest.

Pre-event Team Leader roles
We are looking for some additional volunteers to help us shape the event by taking on a number of small, manageable pre-event roles. You can apply to be an event Team Leader using this form, and a description of each available position can be found below.
Although we are doing this through an application process, there is a role at Ignite for everyone. Finch from our Event Delivery Team will be in touch with everyone who applies for a role, to check that the role is the right fit for you and the team. If you would like an informal chat about any of these exciting new positions, we would encourage you to reach out to Finch, who would be more than happy to talk you through any aspects of the role: alex.finch@nys.org.uk
